2023-11-27

Floor stickers are a key tool in organizing a safe and effective industrial space. Their correct application is necessary to maximize their durability and functionality. We present a short guide that will help you in the correct assembly of Tagatic stickers from the Basic, Pro and Heavy Duty series.
Surface preparation
- Selection of surfaces: stickers will work best on floor panels, ceramic tiles, marbles, wooden parquet, smooth concrete screeds and high quality smooth PVC floor coverings.
- Cleaning: Make sure the surface is smooth and there are no moving elements. For oil impurities, use alcohol or a mild solvent. Then clean with a mild detergent (without enzymes) and thoroughly rinse with water.
- Drying: The surface must be completely dry before application.
- Cleaning range: The cleaned surface should be larger than the sticker to prevent contact with the dirty floor.
Application sticker
- Positioning: reveal a small part of the glue (e.g. corner) and place the sticker in the selected place. Avoid touching the adhesive.
- Installation: After placing the sticker, slowly peel off the rest of the undercoat, pushing the air from under the sticker. Use a carcinoma or a clean cloth for pressing.
- Pressure: Press the whole thoroughly, with particular emphasis on the edges and corners.
- Consolidation time: If possible, leave the sticker for 24 hours without washing and movement of heavy vehicles.
Exploitation
- Types of traffic: Heavy Duty stickers are adapted to normal pedestrian traffic and light motor vehicle traffic.
- Cleaning: Use mild soap -based cleaning agents.
- Beware of slippery: wet stickers can be slippery. Pedestrian movement resumed after completely dry.
- Caution: Avoid contact with heavy and sharp objects that can damage the stickers.
