Flexible marking of bicycle infrastructure
Nextbike is a pioneer and leader in bike sharing . The company operates the largest bike sharing systems in Poland, including Veturilo in Warsaw, and its operations are based on collaboration with local governments and private partners. Nextbike develops integrated bike sharing systems, which have become an integral part of public transport in many Polish cities.
As part of a project for Nextbike Polska, we provided solutions for signage for cycling infrastructure in Warsaw. The project was based on a self-service model – the client independently implements products they regularly order from our offerings.
Scope of cooperation with Tagatic
In the case of the implementation for Nextbike in Warsaw, Tagatic was responsible for:
✔ presentation and selection of appropriate marking products,
✔ production of personalized elements,
✔ On-site technical support – demonstration of sign application and installation,
✔ advice on independent implementation of signage by the client's team.
Our on-site presence lasted four days, focusing on providing practical knowledge and demonstrating how to properly apply the ordered markings. The entire rest of the process, from design to installation, was handled internally by the Nextbike team.
Cooperation model
🙌 Self-service with access to products
Nextbike utilizes our self-service model. This means:
- The client manages the installation and planning of the markings independently ,
- Regularly replenishes stocks through orders of our products ,
- He receives full advisory and product support , but conducts further activities independently.
This solution is ideal for companies that have internal technical teams and need flexible access to professional materials without the need for full outsourcing.
Summary
Thanks to constant access to materials from Tagatic, the Nextbike team can independently implement signage for new locations. The self-service model allows clients to flexibly manage urban spaces while maintaining visual consistency and ensuring the safety of bicycle infrastructure users.
Our collaboration with Nextbike demonstrates that Tagatic is not just a contractor, but above all, an advisory partner – flexible and adaptable to various collaboration models. In this project, we served as a supplier and product expert, supporting the client in taking control of their bicycle infrastructure signage.
This is an example of how, even without participating in the design process, we can provide effective solutions that work in practice.
