Lindab Polska Brand Hero "Rynio" and the safety corner
How did the cooperation with Lindab start?
The application from Lindab Polska ( an international manufacturer of gutter, ventilation and roofing systems) came to us with a very specific purpose: the client was looking for a contractor who would help create a modern, aesthetic and functional safety corner in one of their production plants.
While initially it was just about graphic design and producing informational elements , it quickly became clear that we could offer something more. During the first online meeting with the Lindab team, we also demonstrated our capabilities in creating Brand Heroes —characters supporting visual and educational communication.
This was a breakthrough moment – the client not only expressed interest but also enthusiastically embraced the idea of creating their own character, one that could become a permanent fixture in their internal communications. Thus, "Rynio" – a security hero who today educates, engages, and… attracts attention.
Safety Corner
The task was to prepare comprehensive visual communication for the so-called safety corner – a zone that would not only be a source of knowledge but also an aesthetic showcase of the company's approach to occupational health and safety.
The Lindab team was well prepared from the outset – the client designed and constructed the entire physical structure of the corner themselves, using their own materials and know-how. They provided us with a complete technical drawing with dimensions, allowing us to proceed directly to the design phase – without the need for physical measurements on site.
After an online meeting during which we agreed on the functions and division of the corner, we started working on the graphic concept.
The whole thing has been divided into four key thematic segments:
Each segment has been prepared in a consistent Lindab brand color scheme , and the whole creates a clear and visually attractive information system.
Health and safety at the hall
Rules of conduct in the hall, mandatory protective clothing, current regulations and key information on safety procedures.
First aid
First aid kit inventory, AED availability and location, first aid instructions and emergency numbers.
Event information
A dashboard displays the number of days without an accident, and describes any incidents or near misses. The segment has been enhanced with a TV with dynamic content (digital reminders and updates).
Fire protection and evacuation
Evacuation maps, fire extinguisher locations, evacuation route markings and a detailed action plan in the event of a fire hazard.


"Rynio" – Brand Hero with Character
While working on the safety corner, we proposed creating a Brand Hero that would support visual communication within and beyond the corner. In the case of Lindab, a manufacturer of gutter systems, the character was designed with a touch of humor but with a strong educational focus.
Rynio was created – a character stylized as a production worker, wearing a reflective vest, helmet, and other elements required for production. Rynio appears in graphic form:

when reminding about safety rules,

in contextual versions – e.g. with different outfits or facial expressions depending on the message.
Brand Hero works like a magnet – it attracts attention, creates positive associations and makes even difficult or “boring” health and safety topics more accessible.
Rynio not only supports communication, but also strengthens the safety culture within the company.
Summary
This is one of those projects that demonstrated that an occupational health and safety corner doesn't have to be boring . Thanks to our joint involvement with Lindab, we created an educational tool that employees want to visit —not just because they have to, but also because it's aesthetically pleasing, understandable, and simply... friendly.
Today, "Rynio" supports further communication activities within the company, and we are pleased that from the very first project we managed to build a lasting relationship with the client based on trust and quality.
